These are the top rated games at the time. GTA is the best of them all for a good mature dose of gaming. Hopfully I could be a help

I’ve heard good things about GTA: Liberty City Stories, got a 9.5/10 in Game Informer. I don’t have a PSP, but it’s the only game that I would reccomend to you.
LUMINES: a puzzle game tetris style but just as innovative and fun as tetris was when it came out, every move and combo you make affects the background music, wich is amazing and diverse as well(from cheesy techno pop to rock, house, and hip-hop) but depending on your taste, it may take you a while to get used to it, however, you’ve gotta give it a chance.
WIPEOUT PURE: the last installment in this Futuristic Racing series, definitely a must have to every Racing fan, lots of cool extras, downloadable content, RACING WITH WEAPONS(not lame, rather strategic), excelent soundtrack(if you like or don’t mind electronic music), and challenging tracks and maneuvrability.
STREET FIGHTER ALPHA 3-MAX(strictly for fighting game fans): sadly, I have to point that out from the beginning, because, as everyone who plays fighting games knows, they require DEDICATION, and that may frustrate newcomers easily, However, if you’re familiar with this -iconic- series or if you’re willing to give it a chance, it is totally worth it (even more if you have friends to play against).
well, so it’s the same street fighter alpha 3, PLUS a lot of cool extras, like for example elements from the marvel v capcom series(multiplayer battles, switching characters during the match) many new levels and even the addition of RPG elements(not that it makes any difference though but it’s ok).
These are games that I own, I know, and I play all the time, I recommend these Specially for fun factor, replay value, and because they stand out from the crowd, however, other games that I know are pretty good are some of the already mentioned: metal gear acid 12 and ridge racer; burnout legends, NFL steet and GTA Liberty City stories as well.
I hope you have the time (and money) to check my 3 first picks out, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
